This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit www.winthegame.life (the “Website”), why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.

The Website presents the book IO – How to Win at the Game of Life by Luigino Bottega and the related mentoring, seminars and events. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as the law does not require one for our activity. For any privacy question, write to io@winthegame.life.

Providing data in the forms is voluntary, but without your name and email we cannot answer your request. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions or profiling that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.
3. Who receives your data
We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run the Website and our activity:
- GoDaddy – hosts the Website and sends the form messages by email.
- Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) – Gmail, where form requests and emails are received; Google Analytics and Google Ads (only with your consent); reCAPTCHA; YouTube video thumbnails, which are loaded from Google servers when you open a page that shows videos, so Google receives your IP address.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. – Facebook Pixel (only with your consent).
- Our accountant – when an order or service is invoiced.
- Authorities – only when the law requires it.
Some of these providers (Google, Meta, GoDaddy) may process data in the United States. These transfers are based on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Websites and services we link to
The Website links to other services: Amazon and Apple Books (to buy the book), Payhip (e-book shop), Mailchimp (newsletter sign-up), Koalendar (to book a call with Luigino Bottega), and Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. When you use them, the data you give them is handled by those companies under their own privacy policies; when you buy the book from Amazon, Apple Books or Payhip, they are the seller.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data and get a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase your data (“right to be forgotten”), when the conditions of the law are met;
- restrict the processing of your data;
- data portability – receive the data you gave us in a common machine-readable format;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and object at any time to direct marketing;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. For cookies, use Cookie settings; for everything else, write to us.
To exercise these rights, email io@winthegame.life. We answer within one month; we may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you think we have handled your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority, or with the authority of the EU country where you live or work, or go to court:

6. Security
The Website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the mailbox where requests arrive is protected and limited to us. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
7. Children
The Website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. The Website uses only the cookies listed below. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you click “Decline”, they are not set; Google may still receive basic signals without cookies or identifiers, which cannot be used to recognise you.

Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.winthegame.life (the “Website”), operated by Evento Bt., 1068 Budapest, Dózsa György út 84. B. ép., Hungary (“we”, “us”). By using the Website you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy above. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. Age
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old. The Website is not intended for minors.
2. Content and intellectual property
The texts, quotes, illustrations, photos, videos and design of the Website, and the book IO – How to Win at the Game of Life, are protected by copyright and belong to Evento Bt. and Luigino Bottega or their licensors. You may read and share links to the pages, and quote short passages for personal, non-commercial purposes if you clearly credit the book and its author. Any other use – copying, publishing, translating or using the content commercially – requires our prior written permission.
3. Buying the book, requests and services
The book is sold through Amazon, Apple Books and Payhip; those purchases are governed by the terms of the respective seller. Special Edition pre-orders and requests for seminars, mentoring and events sent through the forms on this Website are requests only: a contract is formed only when we confirm it to you by email, stating the price, the payment method and the other details. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights given to you by mandatory consumer protection law, including the right of withdrawal where it applies.
4. Links to other websites
The Website contains links to websites and services that we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for their content, privacy policies or practices, and we advise you to read their terms and privacy policies.
5. Availability and termination
We may change, suspend or discontinue the Website, or restrict your access to it, at any time and without notice, for example in case of misuse or breach of these Terms.
6. Disclaimer
The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, for information and inspiration. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. We try to keep the content accurate and the Website working, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, error-free, uninterrupted or free of viruses.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Website, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us through the Website, or EUR 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it – in particular for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or for harm to life, physical integrity or health.
8. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

9. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, it will be applied to the greatest extent possible and the remaining provisions stay in force. Not enforcing a right does not mean waiving it.
10. Language
These Terms may be translated. In case of a dispute, the English version prevails.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to announce them on the Website at least 30 days before they take effect. By continuing to use the Website after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
