The photogram of “NOW”/ Part 2
Every human thought, word, or deed is based on fear or love. Fear is the energy which contracts, closes down, draws in, hides, hoards, harms. Love is the energy which expands, opens up, sends out, reveals, shares, heals. You have free choice about which of these to select.
In any given moment, we have two options: to step forward into growth or to step back into safety.
To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.
From the moment we’re born we’re constantly dying, not only with each stage of life but also one day at a time. Our bodies are no longer the ones to which our mothers gave birth, as Marcus put it. Nobody is the same person he was yesterday. Realizing this makes it easier to let go: we can no more hold on to life than grasp the waters of a rushing stream.
We are driven by five genetic needs: survival, love and belonging, power, freedom, and fun.
Intuition doesn't tell you what you want to hear; it tells you what you need to hear.
Another spiritual suggestion for remaining calm is to refrain from trying to control everyone around you. The more controlling you are, the more you’ll get lost in ego land and removed from your spirit.
Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.
Don't let making a living prevent you from making a life.
The feeling "I'll be happy when X happens" will never bring you anything but discontentment.
To overcome the anxieties and depressions of contemporary life, individuals must become independent of the social environment to the degree that they no longer respond exclusively in terms of its rewards and punishments. To achieve such autonomy, a person has to learn to provide rewards to herself. She has to develop the ability to find enjoyment and purpose regardless of external circumstances.
Breathe and let be.
The probability of achieving the outcome you want increases when you let go of the need to have it.
Maslow's five values are the values for which people live when they have nothing to live for. Nothing has seized them, nothing has caught them, nothing has driven them spiritually mad and made them worth talking to.
Don’t ask me anything more. My essence is wordless.
