The creator of vision
Once you have seen and felt your ideal future, you will be ready and able to pay any price to get there.
Disconnecting from change does not recapture the past. It loses the future.
Most misunderstandings in the world could be avoided if people would simply take the time to ask, "What else could this mean?"
If you don’t know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else.
When you have vision it affects your attitude. Your attitude is optimistic rather than pessimistic.
Genius appeals to the future.
I don’t believe that people create their own visions. Rather, I believe that visions are actually God’s way of communicating with us.
At the core of any Victim, you’ll find the psychic death of a dream.
Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything.
When your desires are strong enough, you will appear to possess superhuman powers to achieve.
Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is a nightmare.
The vision of a champion is someone who is bent over, drenched in sweat, at the point of exhaustion when no one else is watching.
People who take a long view of their lives and careers always seem to make much better decisions about their time and activities than people who give very little thought to the future.
The great men and women of history were not great because of what they earned and owned, but rather for what they gave their lives to accomplish.
Your past does not equal your future.
The three decisions that control your destiny are:
1. your decisions about what to focus on
2. your decisions about what things meant to you
3. your decisions about what to do to create the results you desire.
Greatness and nearsightedness are incompatible. Meaningful achievement depends on lifting one's sights and pushing toward the horizon.
Instead of aspiring to be anything you want to be, you should aim to be more of who you already are.
This is something I know for a fact: You have to work hardest for the things you love most.
Limits begin where vision ends.
Be the dream.
When you pick your battles, look beyond the immediate challenges and put your life in perspective. Are you where you want to be? What could be better?
Your job is to create a vision that makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning. If it doesn’t, go back to bed until you have a bigger dream.
You become what you envision yourself being.
Every great achiever—whether in sports, business or any other endeavor—is never content just doing what everyone else does. Every high achiever 'goes beyond normal.'
The Bible says in Habakkuk 2:2, “Write the vision and make it plain.” The written goal is the breakfast of champions. You just can’t do big things without making your goals specific, measurable, yours, with a time limit, and in writing.
Having clarity on where you want to go is one of the most critical components of your life.
In life, you often get what you expect.
Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.
"Nearly everyone takes the limits of his own vision for the limits of the world. A few do not." Join them.
You know, you don't need to grow old to die. I was dying at the age of 20 as a result of no direction and no purpose.
Give life to your dreams, give strength to your visions, and give light to your path.
It’s not what the vision is, it’s what the vision does.
Creators start at the end. First they have an idea of what they want to create. Sometimes this is idea is general, and sometimes it is specific. Before you can create what you want you want to create, you must know what you are after, what you want to bring into being.
In the absence of a great dream, pettiness prevails.
